  Needed to take a new puppy to the Vet to receive her first shots and a microchip. The service was professional and they took good care of her ensuring that the experience was not as traumatising. Will be going back for her second shots and will be using this Vet in future :)

  We have been using Lake Vets for the past 15 years with our last dog and our current two dogs who are now 3 years old. The staff are kind and compassionate and take the time to make our nervous dogs feels safe and reassured. Thank you for keeping our dogs well and healthy! Leanne and Wade Morris

  I've been taking my dogs to the Lake Vet Practice for over 20 years, and have always found them (both the vets and the vet nurses) to be compassionate and caring, as well as being up-to-date and excellent in their veterinary knowledge and skill.

  Brought my cat here with concern about a sore on his nose and was told it was 'probably an insect bite' and to 'wait and see how it goes'. After several months it had gotten worse. Falling off and bleeding and puffing up into a scab again every few days. Brought him back to the same place and was seen by a different vet. Was once again told 'It's probably an insect bite' and was sold antibiotics to clear infection. After another 2 months it was still enflamed. I then took my cat to a different vet and was told it is cancer and that it's now too late to do anything about it. Not to mention Lake Vetinary Hospital Charlestown told me his paws were swollen from the hot road, when my new vet has said it is an autoimmune disease. Fantastic work Lake Vetinary Hospital Charlestown, TWO of your vets failed my cat and now he is going to die. Oh, and he also has heart disease. Guess you didn't pick up on that either.

  We highly recommend The Lake Vets after our recent visit to the hospital. The warmth of the staff to our furry child, Sammi, was compassionate and considerate. Sammi is now feeling much better thanks to Dr Kelly. Thank you very much - see you again soon for my grooming.
